Summary: AU fic. Still takes place in Sunnydale minus the Hellmouth factor. Tara is a guidance counselor at Sunnydale High, Faith a physical education teacher. Willow holds a computer related job, working for a huge firm. Buffy is a gym instructor.

A couple of weeks had passed ever since Willow saw the blonde at the Bronze, but oddly enough, she had not been able to get her out of her mind.

Shaking herself out from her thoughts, Willow looked up to see her boss walking towards her.

Willow.

Yeah Tom?

Could you do me a favour? Just drop by Sunnydale High would you and check out the computer systems? The principal called me up to say that theres a slight problem with the computers or something. He wasnt very clear in his explanations. I would have sent Claire down to spare you the trouble, but shes down with the flu today, so Im hoping youll be able to replace her?

Sure, no problem. Ill go down and check out the problem. Anyway, its only fifteen minutes drive away. Do you want me to go now?

Now would be good.

Grabbing her briefcase on the table and keys from the desk drawers, Willow replied, Alright then.

Breathing a sigh of relief, Thanks Willow, know I could count on you.

Turning her head to give her boss a wink, Willow grinned good-naturedly, You owe me one Tom. Before heading down the passage way towards the lifts.

Glancing at her watch, Tara headed down the walkway towards her car that was parked in the driveway. She had just paid a house visit. The principal had alerted her that one of the best students in school, Ethan, had recently been failing his tests and had often been caught falling asleep in class. Noting that Ethan had not appeared in school for the whole week, he had sent Tara down to pay him a house call.

It turns out that Ethans father had been retrenched and the family was having difficulty coping. Having taken up a part time job as a cashier, hoping to ease the burden off his mother, Ethan had worked himself so hard to cope with studies and work that he had fallen ill and was presently staying home to recuperate. Tara had reassured his family, telling him not to worry and that the school will help him out with his financial difficulties and arranged for extra lessons to help Ethan catch up with his work, bringing about much relief in the household.

Tara smiled to herself as she thought of the relieved smiles on Ethan and his family. Tara had always put in 110% for the students in Sunnydale High and it made her happy to know that all her efforts are not in vain. Unlocking her car door, Tara allowed her thoughts to drift to a few weeks back at the Bronze where she had seen that redhead. <She just stood out from the crowd. So beautiful With eyes so green and enchanting. I wish she never left so soon, maybe we could have gotten to know each other. Sigh, no point thinking about it now Tara Maclay, its been weeks now and youre still yet to meet again at the Bronze>

Shaking her head while gently admonishing herself for thinking about the redhead again, Tara backed her car out of the driveway and headed back down towards school.

Its all fixed up Mr Moore, it was only a slight glitch. Nothing that couldnt be fixed. Your systems are all working perfectly fine now.

Reaching his hand out to shake Willows, Thank you Miss Rosenberg. So grateful that you could come down on such short notice, if not, computer classes couldnt have resumed as usual.

Casting a quick glance at the clock in the hallway, Willow heard a slight rumble in her tummy. <Mmm lunchtime now Maybe I should call Buffy and see if shes free. No wait, Im sure she said something this morning about being unavailable Hmm>

So lost in her own thoughts, Willow failed to see where she was walking, even more so failing to see the looming figure of a blonde woman in the hallway, who was having difficulty balancing all her books in one hand while holding her briefcase with her other hand.

Oof. The sound was followed by a loud thud, sound of books scattering to the ground and Willows briefcase being knocked out of her hands.

S-sorry, I-Im sorry. D-didnt see where I was going.

What? Willows eyes shot up to find a blonde woman kneeling by the ground, hastily trying to pick up the scattered objects. Willows eyes became as big as saucers when she realized she recognized who the woman was. It was the woman from the Bronze a few weeks back! You She breathily replied.

Mentally cursing herself for stuttering in public, Tara peeled her eyes from the pile of mess on the floor and finally looked up only to find herself lost in pools of emerald green. She was staring at the fiery redhead whom she had smiled at the Bronze that night. Her voice a mere whisper above the silence that had settled in the hallway of Sunnydale High, You
